Report: Manchester United join Henrik Mkhitaryan hunt

A report claims that Manchester United have joined the race to sign Armenian attacker Henrik Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to battle Arsenal for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Henrik Mkhitaryan in this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old only has one year left on his contract with Dortmund and it is understood that the German club would be prepared to sell this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for the Armenian, but according to the Daily Mail, Man United are also considering a summer move as Jose Mourinho prepares to overhaul the squad.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk attacker has scored 40 times in 136 appearances for Dortmund - including 23 in all competitions during the 2015-16 campaign.
