Rafael Da Silva tells Lucas Moura to join Manchester United

Manchester United defender Rafael Da Silva has revealed that he has told Brazil teammate Lucas Moura to join him at Old Trafford.

United, whose initial offer of £27m was rejected by São Paulo, are believed to be leading the race for the player's signature.

When asked whether he was excited at the prospect of Lucas joining United, Rafael replied: "Yes, yes.

"And yes, I have told Lucas he should come to Manchester United - of course."

Both players are likely to feature in Brazil's opening Olympic football match against Egypt in Cardiff on Thursday.
