Nicolas Otamendi, Fernando out of Porto squad

Porto leave Nicolas Otamendi and Fernando out of their squad to face Maritimo, amid reports linking the pair with the two Manchester clubs.

Nicolas Otamendi and Fernando have been omitted from the Porto squad that will take on Maritimo tomorrow.

Argentine defender Otamendi has been linked with a move to Manchester United over the last 24 hours, while it is believed that midfielder Fernando is a target of United's rivals Manchester City.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola has claimed that the duo have been left out on medical grounds, although speculation has suggested that talks are ongoing between all three parties regarding transfers.

City are also thought to be keen to sign Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, but they may not have enough time to conclude that deal before tonight's 11pm deadline.
