Newcastle United join Ezekiel Fryers chase

Newcastle United have reportedly joined the chase to sign Manchester United youngster Ezekiel Fryers.

The 19-year-old defender, who has made six first-team appearances for the Red Devils this season, has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Magpies are now ready to swoop for the left-back following a breakdown in contract negotiations at Old Trafford, according to The Mirror.

Fryers joined United as a nine-year-old before making his way through the club's academy.
