New Manchester United manager David Moyes will reportedly hold talks with striker Wayne Rooney regarding his future this week.

As expected, the Scotsman, who has officially become the new leader at Old Trafford today, will have the task of sorting out Rooney's future, with reports claiming that the England international is keen to leave the club.

The former Everton boss will sit down with the 27-year-old in the next few days when the forward returns for pre-season training, according to Sky Sports News.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona have been linked with Rooney, who has allegedly asked to leave United twice in three years.
