Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly decides to give Anthony Martial a final opportunity to save his career at Old Trafford.

Forward Anthony Martial has reportedly been given one final opportunity to save his Manchester United career.

After spending much of his time at Old Trafford in and out of the side, it had been expected that Martial would be sold during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with an approach for the France international, but according to The Mirror, Martial is to be given a chance to impress in the starting lineup.

The extended pre-season breaks of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford means that United are short for numbers in the final third, and it will see Martial play in the front three during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

Jose Mourinho has not always favoured the 22-year-old, but the player is expected to feature prominently in United's five matches over the other side of the pond.
