Manchester United 'want £20m obligation to buy in Alexis Sanchez deal'

Man Utd 'want £20m obligation in Sanchez deal'

Manchester United are reportedly demanding a guarantee that Inter Milan will make their initial loan move for Alexis Sanchez permanent for £20m at the end of the season.

Talks have taken place between representatives of the two clubs in the last few weeks, with both parties eager to get the deal over the line.

According to the Daily Mail, Inter only intend to offer the Chilean £150,000 a week in any permanent move for the player, meaning that the Red Devils would still have to make up the other £350,000 of his £500,000 salary.

New Inter boss Antonio Conte is understood to be desperate to get this deal done and wants Sanchez signed before his first home match in charge against Lecce on Monday night.

Inter have already dealt with Manchester United this summer, with Romelu Lukaku having swapped Old Trafford for the San Siro a few weeks ago.

The Belgian is expected to miss Inter's Serie A opener against Lecce amidst fears that he is still overweight and not ready for selection.
