Manchester United will reportedly launch another bid to try to snare Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao when the transfer window opens.
The champions failed with a move for the Spaniard in the summer, but will come back with an improved offer in the New Year, according to The Guardian.
The playmaker has a reported buyout clause of £30m, but it is thought that manager David Moyes wants to try to lure Herrera to Old Trafford for considerably less.
United are currently ninth in the Premier League.
