Manchester United are reportedly lining up a bid for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio with winger Nani set to be offered in a part-exchange deal.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is said to have been impressed by the Italian international this season and will bid around £20m for the 27-year-old.
Portuguese international Nani will also be offered as a makeweight in any potential deal, with the recently-crowned Serie A champions previously reported to have shown an interest in the player.
However, Marchisio recently declared his reluctance to leave Juve this summer.
