Manchester United have not given up on their hopes of landing FC Porto winger James Rodriguez, according to reports.
The Colombian has been targeted by Sir Alex Ferguson after two impressive years in Portugal, with the Daily Mail reporting that a £30m bid has already been rejected.
The 20-year-old recently signed a new contract with Porto, who had a release clause of around £40m inserted.
Rodriguez, who has five caps for his country, moved to the Estadio do Dragao from Argentine side Banfield in 2010.
