Paul Pogba's latest admission that he wants to join Real Madrid has reportedly not had an impact on his standing amongst his Manchester United teammates.

The Manchester United dressing room is reportedly still firmly behind Paul Pogba despite his suggestions that he wants to join Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old has been persistently linked with the Spanish giants in recent years and publicly fuelled the waning speculation last week when he admitted that playing for Madrid is his "dream".

Pogba's comments come with less than a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, although United do have the option to extend that by a further 12 months.

The Manchester Evening News reports that the France international's comments have not affected his popularity or standing amongst his United teammates, who still believe that he is the best player at the club.

Pogba had been tipped to leave United this summer prior to the coronavirus outbreak and has regularly flirted with other clubs during his time at Old Trafford.

Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the World Cup-winning midfielder in the past, while recent reports suggest that Barcelona have now entered the race too.
