Manchester United confirm Alexander Buttner departure

Manchester United confirm the departure of Alexander Buttner to Dynamo Moscow for an undisclosed fee.

Manchester United have confirmed Alexander Buttner's departure to Dynamo Moscow for an undisclosed fee.

The Russian club revealed on Tuesday that they had agreed a deal with United for the transfer of the 25-year-old left-back.

It is understood that Moscow have paid around £4.4m for the Dutchman's services.

"Everybody at Old Trafford would like to thank Alex for his service and wish him well for his new career in Russia," read a statement on the club's official website.

Buttner moved to Old Trafford from Vitesse in 2012 before going on to make 28 appearances for the Red Devils.
