Report: Manchester United, Arsenal to fight over Jordi Alba

Manchester United and Arsenal are set to battle over the signature of Barcelona defender Jordi Alba, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is said to be out of favour at the Camp Nou, with manager Luis Enrique eager to sign a more disciplined player in his position.

The Daily Express claims that the Red Devils want an experienced left-back to rival new signing Luke Shaw for a place in the starting XI, while the Gunners are looking to replace Nacho Monreal.

Barcelona have allegedly put a £25m price tag on Alba.
