A report claims that Manchester United will monitor the performances of Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans over the coming months.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly informed his scouts to keep a close eye on the performances of Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans over the next few weeks.

The Belgian international, who is also said to be attracting interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, was linked with a move to Old Trafford while Louis van Gaal was at the helm.

Talk of a move for the 19-year-old quietened in the summer, but according to the Daily Star, Mourinho is interested in the teenager and will receive regular updates of his progression this season.

Tielemans, who made his Anderlecht debut at the age of 16, has scored nine times in 21 appearances for his Belgian club this season.
