Manchester United recall young goalkeeper Dean Henderson from Stockport

Manchester United have recalled goalkeeper Dean Henderson from his loan spell at Stockport County.

The 18-year-old has returned to Old Trafford due to injuries suffered to number one David de Gea and Sam Johnstone.

De Gea suffered a knee injury during the warm-up ahead of Thursday night's 2-1 defeat to Danish side FC Midtjylland.

The Spaniard was replaced with Sergio Romero, who is expected to be between the sticks for Monday's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Shrewsbury Town.

Henderson will act as cover to Romero.
