Federico Macheda heading for Rayo Vallecano?

Manchester United youngster Federico Macheda has reportedly captured the attention of Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano.

The 21-year-old has been widely tipped to leave the Red Devils on a loan basis during this month's transfer window.

Discussing the Italian frontman's ability, Vallecano's sporting director Felipe Minambres told Rayo Total: "Macheda is very good player. Maybe for our team."

Macheda has made just two Premier League starts for United over the past four seasons.
