Defender Luke Shaw is reportedly open to signing a new long-term contract at Manchester United.
Currently participating in his eighth campaign at Old Trafford, the left-back is now one of United's longest-serving players, making a total of 212 appearances in all competitions.
However, with United going through a difficult spell of late and Champions League qualification far from agiven, the 26-year-old may contemplate taking on a new challenge.
According to The Guardian, the England international remains interested in negotiating fresh terms over the coming months.
While United already have the option to extend Shaw's stay until 2024, both parties may feel obliged to make a statement of intent with a new manager likely to be brought into the club later this year.
Nevertheless, the report adds that Shaw is 'yet to make a definitive decision' either way, aware that a shake-up could take place ahead of 2022-23.
