Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offer Luke Shaw a new contract at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old was in excellent form for the Red Devils during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing one goal and six assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
Shaw has also starred for England at this summer's European Championship, providing three assists in four appearances, having cemented his spot as Gareth Southgate's first-choice left-back.
The former Southampton youngster only has two years left to run on his deal at Old Trafford, but according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the defender is in line for an extension.
Romano claims that Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer views Shaw as a 'key player', and the full-back will officially be presented with a contract offer 'in the next months'.
The Englishman, who made 32 Premier League appearances during the 2020-21 season, has featured on 186 occasions for the Red Devils since arriving from Southampton.
