Lindegaard agent talks up United exit

The agent of Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has revealed that his client is open to a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

The Dane is reportedly poised to slip to third in the pecking order behind David de Gea and Ben Amos in manager Louis van Gaal's regime at the club.

Consequently, his representative Michael Stensgaard says that Lindegaard, who has made just 29 appearances in his four-year stint, is "open to other opportunities".

"Anders would consider staying in England, but he is actually open to other opportunities too," Stensgaard told Danish news agency Ritzau.

"The important thing is the package is right considering the family, the sport ambitions and of course the finances."

The 30-year-old, who joined United in November 2011, has a further two years remaining on his contract with the Red Devils.
