Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is wanted by Juventus as a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny, according to a report.

Juventus will reportedly attempt to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea during next summer's transfer window.

The 30-year-old lost his spot as Man United's number one to Dean Henderson in the latter stages of last season but has been back between the sticks in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign.

Henderson's absence, as he struggled with the after-effects of coronavirus, has allowed De Gea to make four appearances in the new Premier League season, and the Spain international has been in strong form.

The stopper's long-term future at Old Trafford is far from clear, though, as his current deal is due to expire in June 2023, and he was linked with a move away over the summer.

According to todofichajes, Juventus are planning to move for the Spaniard next summer, as the Old Lady want to sign a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny.

De Gea has made 445 appearances for Man United since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011, winning one Premier League title, one FA Cup and one EFL Cup.
