Juventus join Dimitar Berbatov chase

Juventus are understood to have made a late attempt to sign Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

The 31-year-old, who has one year left on his current deal at Old Trafford, was expected to join Fiorentina for around £4m on Wednesday.

However, Juve's interest has made the Bulgarian consider his options, according to Goal.com.

Berbatov joined United for a club-record fee of £30.75m from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008.
