Juve to offer United-linked Allegri bumper deal?

Juventus are ready to splash the cash to keep Massimiliano Allegri out of Manchester United's clutches, according to a report.

The 51-year-old is believed to be on the Red Devils' shortlist of potential options to take over as Jose Mourinho's permanent successor.

Allegri has also been touted as a target for Real Madrid, who are expected to bring in a new manager at the end of the campaign, but Corriere dello Sport suggests that Juve have no intention of letting the in-demand Italian move on.

A £9m-a-year package is said to have been prepared for Allegri, who has won four consecutive Serie A and Coppa Italia doubles during his time at the Allianz Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be the preferred choice for both United and Madrid, though Allegri may be a cheaper alternative if he does not extend his Juve contract.
