Leicester City midfielder James Maddison would reportedly like to sign for Manchester United in the summer.
Having made a huge impression during his opening 18 months at the King Power Stadium, Leicester are keen to hand the playmaker a new long-term contract.
Last month, it was suggested that the England international was open to extending his stay at the East Midlands outfit, who are bidding to qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, the 23-year-old wants to make the switch to Old Trafford as soon as possible.
The report quotes a source as saying that Maddison 'would have been at United years ago' had he been able to make that choice.
Maddison has a deal at Leicester until 2023, leaving the Foxes in a position to demand a fee in excess of £60m for his signature.
