Inter Milan 'have not spoken to Javier Hernandez, Fernando Torres'

Inter Milan president Erick Thohir insists that they are yet to make contact with either Javier Hernandez or Fernando Torres as their planning for next season continues.

Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has played down speculation linking them with Chelsea's Fernando Torres and Javier Hernandez of Manchester United.

The Italian giants are already planning for next season, having agreed a deal to bring departing United skipper Nemanja Vidic to the San Siro in the summer.

Reports had claimed that they were looking at his seemingly unsettled teammate Hernandez, or Torres, to boost their forward ranks, but Thohir has insisted that they are yet to move for either striker.

"At the end of the season we will evaluate everything, both the young players and the more experienced ones," he said at a press conference on Monday.

"We want to build a strong squad for the future with a view not just to next season but to the next three. I think he Hernandez is a good player. But we haven't spoken to either him or Fernando Torres."

Hernandez has only made four Premier League starts for the Red Devils this season, while Torres's future at Stamford Bridge is less than certain following Jose Mourinho's criticism of his frontline.
