Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire has expressed his excitement at having England teammate Jadon Sancho play at Old Trafford next season.
The Red Devils announced last week that they had agreed terms with Borussia Dortmund to finally land Sancho for a fee in the region of £73m, after chasing the winger during last summer's transfer window.
Sancho will be joining up with international teammate Maguire when the Premier League giants officially conclude his signing following England's Euro 2020 campaign.
Maguire heaped praise on the 21-year-old, and said in a press conference this week: "Jadon is a top player, exceptional talent, a young lad with a lot of experience.
"His numbers speak for themselves, what he has done over in Germany. He is a great player. I don't think it is a done deal yet. We can't confirm he is a Manchester United player, I know it is close but he is still a Dortmund player as it stands.
"Of course, it is exciting times ahead and hopefully we will get it across the line."
Sancho made his first start in Euro 2020 against Ukraine on Saturday, and could line up with Maguire in the semi-final on Wednesday.
