Everton are reportedly ready to make a £2.5m bid for Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.
The 24-year-old is thought to have already held initial talks with the Goodison Park club, according to The Mirror.
The Republic of Ireland international will be looking for first-team football ahead of this summer's Euro 2012 tournament.
Gibson was recently fined by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson for going out on Boxing Day evening with teammates Wayne Rooney and Jonny Evans.
