Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is facing further scrutiny after a culmination of errors this season, leaving his side to reassess their goalkeeping options.

Manchester United are reportedly growing concerned by goalkeeper David de Gea's mistakes, and could be in a position to replace him this summer.

De Gea was at fault for Everton's goal against his side at the weekend, allowing Dominic Calvert-Lewin to charge down an attempted clearance and score the Toffees' opener.

Sunday's blunder isn't the first time De Gea has been criticised for his performances this season, and according to the Daily Mail, United are open to reassessing their goalkeeping options ahead of next season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side currently have Dean Henderson on loan at Sheffield United, where the 22-year-old has kept nine clean sheets in 26 league outings for the Blades as they continue to push for a spot in Europe.

The report also claims that the Red Devils are due to hold talks with Henderson's representatives in March, however the England Under 21 international would be looking for regular first-team football in Solskjaer's side.

De Gea has made 393 appearances for United since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
