According to football.london, Chelsea are expected to join the race to sign the youngster, who is set to enter the final 18 months of his contract.

The report claims that Chelsea could be tempted to make an approach in the January transfer window after being impressed by the Spain international.

There is also believed to be interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, and those interested in signing Williams have the option of activating his €50m (£43m) release clause.
