Bruno Lage is confident that Ruben Neves will be a Wolverhampton Wanderers play when the transfer window shuts.
Neves has two years left on his contract at Molineux, but the midfielder had attracted interest from Manchester United previously in the transfer window.
While Wolves have maintained that they are confident of keeping the Portugal international, a recent report indicated that Liverpool were interested as they search for a new midfielder before the transfer window closes.
Although the Reds have identified Neves as a potential transfer target, his manager told reporters following Sunday's 1-1 Premier League draw with Newcastle United that he is confident the player will remain at the club.
As quoted by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lage said: "I can confirm I'm 99% sure Ruben Neves will stay at Wolverhampton this summer."
The 25-year-old scored Wolves' only goal of the game against Newcastle and has started all four of his club's league matches this season.
