Bristol City 'want Manchester United youngster Dean Henderson'

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is reportedly a transfer target for Championship side Bristol City.

Henderson joined United in 2011, but is yet to make his first-team debut for the Red Devils.

The 21-year-old represented Stockport County and Grimsby Town on loan between 2015 and 2017, before spending the entirety of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at League One outfit Shrewsbury Town.

According to The Sun, Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has been impressed with Henderson's form throughout the season, and will look to secure a deal following Shrewsbury's League One playoff final against Rotherham United this weekend.

Henderson, who was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year for the 2017-18 season, is an England Under-21 international.
