Rafael Benitez hints at Marouane Fellaini interest

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez hints at a move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez has hinted that he is interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini this summer.

Fellaini, who joined United from Everton last summer, is not believed to be part of Louis van Gaal's plans for the new season.

United would prefer to sell the player outright, but it is understood that Napoli have made a loan offer for the Belgian international.

"He's not one of our players, his future does not depend on us, but on Manchester United. I think about working with the players I have," Benitez told reporters.

Fellaini has not played for United in pre-season due to his World Cup exploits with Belgium.
