Arsenal have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to sign Sunderland teenager Logan Pye.
With the full-back being just 15 years of age, the Gunners are unable to push through a deal for the prospect at this time.
However, Pye turns 16 next month, and it is expected that a number of Premier League clubs will attempt to agree terms for the youngster.
According to The Sun, the Gunners are the favourites to sign the England Under-16 international, edging out Manchester United in the process.
The report adds that the North-West giants had initially been tipped to win the race for Pye, only for Arsenal to now be regarded as the top contenders for his signature.body check tags ::
