Goalkeeper Ben Amos expects to leave Manchester United

On-loan Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ben Amos feels that the time is right to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Goalkeeper Ben Amos has revealed that he will be leaving Manchester United this summer after 13 years with the club.

The 24-year-old has made just seven senior appearances for the Red Devils since joining them from Crewe Alexandra at the age of 11.

Amos, who is currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers in the Championship, expects to find a new side when his contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season.

"Being 24, I can leave on a Bosman so that gives me a little bit more flexibility of where I can go," Amos told the Manchester Evening News.

"I'll assess the options in the summer, see what is about and see what the best thing for me is."

Amos will attempt to keep his third clean sheet since joining Wanderers when Bolton travel to Ipswich Town tomorrow night.
