Paul Pogba will not be involved in Manchester United's Premier League clash against Arsenal on Monday night having been left out of the squad.

The France international had been tipped to feature at the Emirates Stadium after missing Saturday's clash with Burnley, but he has not been included in the 18-man selection.

As a result, Nemanja Matic continues alongside Fred in the middle of the park, while Jesse Lingard is preferred to Andreas Pereira in the number 10 position behind Anthony Martial.

As for Arsenal, Granit Xhaka, who continues to linked with a move away from Mikel Arteta's side, is back in the XI following illness, while David Luiz and Sokratis Papastathopoulos both start at the heart of the defence.

It is an incredibly attacking side with Nicolas Pepe, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang operating behind Alexandre Lacazette, with the likes of Dani Ceballos and Matteo Guendouzi on the bench.

ARSENAL: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac; Torreira, Xhaka; Pepe, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette

MANCHESTER UNITED: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic; James, Lingard, Rashford, Martial
