Team News: Adnan Januzaj starts for Manchester United

Louis van Gaal names Adnan Januzaj in the Manchester United starting XI to face Leicester City.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has named Adnan Januzaj in the starting XI to face Leicester City this afternoon.

Michael Carrick is sidelined for around four weeks with a ruptured muscle but there is no place in the side for Ander Herrera, who is on the substitutes' bench.

Leicester, meanwhile, start with Leonardo Ulloa and Andrej Kramaric up top as they look to lift themselves off the foot of the Premier League table.

Matty James is banned, Riyad Mahrez remains on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Algeria, and Kasper Schmeichel is still out injured.

Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Januzaj, Di Maria, Rooney; van Persie, Falcao

Leicester City: Schwarzer; Simpson, Wasilewski, Morgan, De Laet; Drinkwater, King, Vardy; Kramaric, Schlupp, Ulloa
