Manchester United's dressing room morale is reportedly 'at a new low' following their disappointing 4-2 defeat in the Premier League away against Leicester City last weekend.

Manchester United's dressing room morale is reportedly 'at a new low' following their disappointing 4-2 defeat in the Premier League away against Leicester City last weekend.

The Red Devils are enduring a difficult run of form, after claiming just two wins from their last seven matches across all competitions, and have also picked up just one point from their last three league games.

This poor run has seen United slip down to sixth in the top flight, eliminated from the EFL Cup and with plenty of work still to do in the Champions League if they are to progress to the knockout rounds.

According to The Times, the atmosphere among Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad is "flat" and several players are concerned about the group's morale and the current direction that the club is heading in.

United's board, meanwhile, are understood to be happy with the work carried out by Solskjaer and they have no plans to sack the Norwegian any time soon.

The Red Devils have begun a challenging run of fixtures, with their next task at home against Atalanta on Wednesday night, before they face Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Atalanta again and then crosstown rivals Manchester City in their next four games.
