Nemanja Vidic and Tom Cleverley to return against Liverpool

Nemanja Vidic and Tom Cleverley could be fit to make a return against Liverpool on Saturday.

United captain Vidic has not featured for the club since injuring his calf in their season opener against West Brom, while midfielder Cleverly has been out of action since sustaining foot ligament damage in a match against Bolton in September.

Vidic made an appearance during Serbia's 1-0 loss to Slovenia last night and now looks set to return to United's back four.

It was announced this week that the referee for the clash will be Andre Marriner, who took the decision to send off Vidic when the teams met two seasons ago.
