Valencia: 'I should have been given more chances'

Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has claimed that he has not been given enough chances by manager David Moyes this season.

The 28-year-old Ecuador international has made 18 starts in the Premier League and nine in the Champions League this campaign.

"I would like to have more minutes," The People quotes him as saying.

"I would like to have a more important role here. In fact, I would have liked to have more importance inside the team.

"But I have not been given the chance. I hope next season will be better for me as well as for Man United."

United are currently seventh in the league table with 57 points from 33 matches.
