Manchester United midfielder Antonio Valencia had his camera stolen as he returned from international duty this week.
The 27-year-old, who was sent off in Ecuador's 1-1 draw with Uruguay on Tuesday, has admitted his disgust at the turn of events.
He tweeted: "Yes they rob you in your own country! They won't rob you anywhere else... what a disgrace."
Valencia has made three appearances for United this season.
