Scott McTominay 'rejects Scotland call'

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has reportedly rejected the chance to represent Scotland.

The midfielder was born in Lancaster, but qualifies for Scotland through his father.

According to The Sun, Scotland offered McTominay the chance to play in next week's international friendly against Netherlands, but he rejected the offer as he wants to wait for an England call.

McTominay, who has previously played as a striker, was promoted to United's senior squad at the start of the 2017-18 campaign.
