Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has insisted that the club can enjoy a successful season.
The Red Devils have failed to win a trophy for the past two seasons and have been forced to watch rivals Manchester City and Chelsea claim the Premier League title.
However, they have made a number of big-money signings this summer, and recent arrival Schweinsteiger has said that they have the quality required to bring silverware back to Old Trafford.
"I have to say the quality is huge," he told the club's official website. "I am sure, with this team, it is possible to win titles and, even after a week, I can say that.
"We have a good defence, we have good defensive players, and we have quality players who can make the difference in high-level matches. I think this team has a lot of possibilities and quality."
Schweinsteiger is reported to have cost United a transfer fee of £14.4m.
