Welbeck, Valencia and Scholes receive Rooney praise

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has heaped praise upon three of his teammates at Old Trafford.

Rooney has had positive words for Danny Welbeck and Paul Scholes, both of whom scored in the 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers yesterday afternoon. The England international also spoke highly of Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia.

"Great win yesterday. Welbeck great player for mufc and england. Valencia in this form is scary. Scholes. What more can u say. LEGEND," Rooney wrote on Twitter.

Rooney, 26, missed a penalty during the victory against the Wanderers.
