Merseyside Police have praised the behaviour of the "vast majority of the fans" following the game between Liverpool and Manchester United on Sunday.
It had been feared that supporters would clash following the recent findings of the Hillsborough report, but the match took place with only a few minor incidents.
"No arrests were made for chanting and the game passed peacefully with the vast majority of the fans behaving impeccably throughout the game," a statement read.
However, four men are understood to have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
