Ji-Sung Park insists that Manchester United deserve credit for overcoming numerous injuries this season.

Manchester United's Ji-Sung Park has praised the side's strength in depth after overcoming a slew of injuries this season.

United, who are expected to see the return of Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Nani and Tom Cleverley this weekend, are still set to be without Anders Lindegaard, Anderson and Phil Jones. Even so, Park insists that the club will make no excuses.

"It is part of our history," he told the club's official website. "Last season we had a lot of injuries as well but we kept doing well and we won the title. That shows our squad is very strong, to be able to deal with this kind of problem.

"Everyone has a good mentality. Even though we have so many players injured, we can deal with that. Then when they get back, they can help fight to win the league. It helps the team to become stronger."

Meanwhile, the Old Trafford outfit will be aiming to keep pace with their crosstown rivals with a win at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
