Report: Napoli and Italy midfielder Jorginho in talks with Manchester United

Manchester United have reportedly been in talks with the agent of Napoli midfielder Jorginho over a prospective move to Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old has been in good form for the Serie A leaders this season, starting 18 league games and scoring two goals.

United boss Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, is mulling over his options in the centre of the park given Michael Carrick's impending retirement and Marouane Fellaini's rejection of a contract extension.

According to Italian outlet Rai Sport, members of Jorginho's entourage have met with senior Red Devils officials about a proposed move in the summer.

The Italy international is contracted to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until 2020.
