Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata believes that Louis van Gaal's attacking philosophy will help bring success back to Old Trafford.
United endured a disappointing campaign under David Moyes as the club finished in seventh position in the Premier League table, which resulted in the Reds missing out on European qualification.
However, after Van Gaal was installed as the club's new boss earlier this month, Mata is confident that their trophiless season won't be repeated over the course of the next 12 months.
The 26-year-old told Laureus.com: "He is a very experienced manager. He likes to play in an offensive way, so hopefully he can bring success and trophies to the club and to the players."
Despite only joining the club in January, Mata has been linked with a move away from United, with Barcelona reportedly interested in his signature.
