Manchester United are reportedly in discussions to play a friendly in the Middle East next January.
The team's failure to qualify for the Champions League last term is believed to have cost the club in the region of £30m.
However, Old Trafford bosses will attempt to recoup some of those funds by sending the players either to Dubai or Qatar early next year to take part in a money-spinning friendly, according to The People.
The report added that their likely opponent will be either AC or Inter Milan.
