Manchester United fans continue to protest against the club's current owners - the Glazer family - with a march being held ahead of today's win over Aston Villa.

A group of Manchester United fans held a protest against the club's current owners ahead of their Premier League match with Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's Red Devils took another step to Champions League qualification on the pitch, with Bruno Fernandes's first-half goal enough for all three points against Unai Emery's Villa side.

Since the Europa League exit at Sevilla, things have been progressing steadily for the Red Devils on the pitch - a penalty-shootout win over Brighton & Hove Albion set up an all-Manchester FA Cup final against Manchester City in June.

In the background of a relatively successful first season for Ten Hag at Old Trafford, the club's ownership situation has continued to rumble on with a show of strength from supporters prior to the game today.

Manchester United fan group The 1958 held a protest against the Glazer family, in which they marched from Manchester city centre to the stadium demanding a full sale of the club.

Parties spearheaded by Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have both submitted offers to buy United over the past few weeks, with the Glazer family's 18-year association with the club drawing closer to an end.
