Manchester United announce a five-year medical systems agreement with Toshiba.

Manchester United have announced an agreement with Toshiba to become its official medical systems partner.

The two brands have agreed a five-year deal and they will work together to provide equipment for the club's medical team.

Manchester United's commercial director Richard Arnold told the club's official website: "Our players are at the centre of Manchester United and it is vital that we are able to offer them the best possible medical support.

"Our training ground at Carrington is currently under redevelopment to make way for new improvements, including state-of-the-art medical facilities.

"Unfortunately, in today's game some injuries can be unavoidable; however, the club now has the comfort of knowing that through its partnership with Toshiba Medical Systems it can investigate and treat any injuries with the best medical equipment available."

The partnership is the first of its kind to be developed with a UK football club.
