Louis van Gaal: 'I would not be satisfied with Arsene Wenger's record'

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal reveals that he would not be pleased with Arsene Wenger's record at Arsenal over the past 11 years.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has admitted that he would not be satisfied with Arsene Wenger's record at Arsenal.

The Gunners have failed to win the Premier League since the 2003-04 campaign, but managed to end their trophy drought by lifting the FA Cup twice in the last two seasons.

However, Van Gaal believes that he would not be pleased to go so long without winning the title if he was in charge of the club.

He told reporters: "That's difficult to answer, because I have won a lot of titles and that's also my aim. I wanted to do that in different countries.

"Not only in the Netherlands, but after that in Spain and after that in Germany and after that England.

"That's my ambition. That's why already I am answering your question. I am not that type. I like to win a lot."

United face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their clash on Sunday.
